Description
Cricova Winery – a true underground wine city with streets bearing the name of varieties of grapes, represents a "wonder of the world" It has an area of 120 km with galleries are at a depth of 35 -80 m and contains 30 million liters of wine.
Gagauz Autonomous Territorial Unit. The Gagauz are a unique Turkic ethnic group which happen to be Orthodox. By the end of the 19 th century,after the next Russian – Turkish war, a small Turkish people come from Altai to the Balcans.
ORHEIUL VECHI – An open air museum and an old culture and civilization. It is included in Unesco Heritage. This is where you can enter in what is called "traditional Moldovan.
"Manastirea Curchi – It was built between 1773-1775 in Baroque style, inspired by the church St. Andrew in Kiev. Cathedral has the largest dome in Moldova - 57m.
Tighina Fortress is dated from 15th century and it was built by the greatest Moldovan ruler, Stefan the Great.
Tiraspol is the capital of Transnistria is a self-proclaimed republic on a strip of land between the River Dniester and the eastern Moldovan bor der with Ukraine, recognised only by three non-United Nations (UN) states. The region is considered by the UN to be part of Moldova.
Chisinau city, the capital of the Republic of Moldova. The first document mention of the topical name Chesenau dates back to 1436.
Due to the fact that most of the building have been constructed using limestone, Chisinau is called “the white city”. The city is attractive to tourists because of its various buildings of historical and cultural importance, which have earned Chisinau the name of “green city”.
