Four days in Moldova

   Chisinau  city,  the  capital  of  the Republic of Moldova. The   first document mention  of  the  topical name Chesenau dates back to 1436.  Due  to  the  fact  that  most  of  the building   have   been   constructed using limestone, Chisinau is called “the white city” .

    Tiraspol is the capital     of Transnistria  is  a   self-proclaimed republic on a strip of  land between the River Dniestr  and the eastern Moldovan  border  with  Ukraine , recognised   only   by  three non United  Nations   (UN)  states.  The region is considered by the UN to be part of Moldova.

       Tighina Fortress is dated from 15th century  and  it  was  built  by  the greatest Moldovan ruler, Stefan the Great.

    Old   ORHEI      –   An   open   air museum    and  an  old  culture  and civilization. It is included    in Unesco Heritage. This is where you can    enter    inwhat    is    called "traditional Moldovan. 

      Cricova Winery     –     a     true underground wine city with streets bearing  the  name   of  varieties  of grapes, represents a "wonder of the world" It has   an area of 120 km with galleries are at a depth of 35 - 80 m and contains 30 million liters of wine.

      Asconi is a small winery situated in Puhoi village founded in 1994. Modernization of the manufacturing process was one of the major objectives of the Winery from the very beginning. Asconi uses up-to-date production facilities of the best talian and French manufacturers.
