Tighina Fortress - dates back to the 15th century and was constructed by the great Moldavian ruler, Stephen the Great.
Tiraspol is the capital of Transnistria - a self-proclaimed republic situated on a strip of land between the Dniester River and Moldova's eastern border with Ukraine, recognized by only three non-United Nations (UN) states. The UN considers the region to be part of Moldova.
Church of the Dormition of the Mother of God - as one of the most enigmatic buildings in Moldova, the Church of the Dormition of the Mother of God holds significant cultural and historical importance. It was built between the 15th and 17th centuries.
Purcari Winery - is the oldest winery in Moldova, established in 1827. Located in the village of Purcari, 130 km from Chișinău, it features an underground cave where wines are aged in French oak barrels, gaining nobility, maturity, and aromas that captivate the palate and earn high distinctions at prestigious international competitions.
